Martin King, Consulting Director 

Martin established HR Space in 2007 to provide a full range of Recruitment and Consulting solutions using a personalised approach that being 'boutique' allows. Martin has an extensive background in HR Management, Sales Management and Recruitment for well known New Zealand brands. Prior to establishing HR Space, Martin moved directly out of HR Management roles to get hands-on line management experience wanting to apply his HR expertise in the field. He took on a role as National Sales Manager for a few years and recently worked as General Manager for a leading NZ Recruitment Consultancy.

He brings a wealth of expertise from an HR and management perspective and can see things from all stakeholders’ sides of the table. He takes a 360 degree view of your HR and Recruitment needs. Martin has consulted to businesses across most key industry sectors including; banking, logistics, health, insurance, telecommunications, media, finance, FMCG, beauty, automotive, local government, retail, manufacturing.

Martin has a degree in Employment Relations and Management from The University of Auckland. He is a member of HRINZ and fully qualified in SHL assessments and testing.

 

Susan De La Vega, Business Manager


Susan has 9 years recruitment and leadership experience in both NZ and Australia.  Most recently Susan held the role of Business Support Consulting Manager within a leading Auckland based mid sized consultancy.  She has the ability and experience to work across a wide variety of roles and industries from entry level to senior management. 

Susan has extensive experience in volume recruitment within the contact centre space for some of New Zealand’s leading award winning contact centres. With a strong focus on sound policy and procedure and enhancing the client and candidate experience Susan builds and maintains strong long term relationships with clients.

In addition Susan is a Qualified SHL Assessor and is a highly experienced Assessment Centre expert. She is able to tailor and create Assessment Centres for clients across a range of positions and industries.
